NEWS: Tristar adds 25 new Mercedes to the fleet

Tristar Worldwide has ordered 25 of the new Mercedes E-Class saloons for delivery in December 2009. This investment further showcases the company’s commitment to passenger comfort and safety, along with a continued focus on improving the environmental efficiency of its fleet.

The new E-Class 220 CDI SE models boast the Mercedes BlueEFFICIENCY fuel saving technologies, which ensure that everything from the engine to the wheels is optimised for lower emissions. The new vehicles benefit from a weight reduction, lower displacement engines and a complete aerodynamic overhaul, even down to the new wing mirrors. The result is an EU5 compliant luxury car with CO2 emission levels of just 154g/km.

From a comfort point of view, the new E-Class is both wider and longer than its predecessor, meaning that the interior cabin offers plenty of head and leg room for all passengers. A redesign of the boot has now increased the size to an impressive 540-litre capacity.

The new vehicles will be used to operate Tristar’s completely bespoke Premium service which is tailored to meet each passenger’s individual needs. The service is provided by Tristar’s most highly trained and knowledgeable chauffeurs who, backed by a dedicated round the clock team, can meet all passenger requests on the move.
