Visitors are advised to pack all valuables in their carry-on luggage.- Arrival: travellers are advised to use only pre booked chauffeured cars. Tourists have been robbed when using unofficial taxis. Ensure car doors are locked and windows closed. Avoid placing valuable items in plain sight.- Bag snatching, pick pocketing and distraction theft are not uncommon. Be alert when withdrawing money from ATMs, as “express kidnappings” have been known to occur at such points.- Check and confirm flight departure times before leaving for the airport. Air travel in Argentina – particularly domestic flights – is susceptible to delays and cancellations.
